Citrus Bowl | Notre Dame vs. LSU

No. 14 Notre Dame (9-3) and No. 17 LSU (9-3) will go head to head in the Citrus Bowl on Monday, January 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM (ET) at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The game will be televised nationally on ABC.

This year’s Southeastern Conference bowl game match up will feature Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish, led by longtime Head Coach Brian Kelly, and the LSU Tigers, led by first-year head coach Ed Orgeron . Both teams finished the 2017 season with 9-3 records, making both one of the top 20 teams in college football this season. This year will be Notre Dame’s first appearance at the Citrus Bowl, designating them the visiting team to LSU, who will be appearing in the Citrus Bowl for the fifth time.

 

 

If you are in town all weekend leading up to the matchup, consider attending The Florida Citrus Parade, an annual tradition taking place December 30, 2017. The Citrus Parade is one of the largest sports affiliated parades in the nation. Featuring signature floats made of citrus fruit, high school and college marching bands from across the nation, and other exciting performances, this is a spectacular event you won’t want to miss.

The official Citrus Bowl Pep Rally will be held on December 31, 2017, and will feature performances from the band and cheerleaders from each team, and include special appearances by each teams head coaches to fire up the crowd before game day! Notre Dame’s pep rally will kick off at 4:00pm, followed by LSU at 4:45pm.

 

 

On game day, start your morning off at the official bowl pregame tailgate party held at Tinker Field. This event will feature music, games, inflatables, face painters, and local food and beverage vendors. This event is free with your game ticket purchase, and will be family friendly. The tailgate will begin at 9:00am.

 

 

For a VIP tailgating experience, check out Mercedes-Benz of South Orlando’s tailgating pavilions, kicking off at 10:00am on Tinker Field. Located in VIP lots, these pavilions will feature lounge seating, all-inclusive food and beverage options, and climate-controlled pavilions. Entertainment will consist of special private performances by both teams marching bands. Tickets start at $88 with private area packages available.
